My name is Rob Baker. I am a Freelance Photographer based out of Greenwood, IN. I have many interest when it comes to photography. I love sports, scenic, photojournalism and portrait. I love Sport because of the action and emotion that's comes with capturing the image. Approaching each assignment new and fresh so I have the opportunity for me to come away with images I can be proud of to display.
1996 - Met Seth Rossman who introduced me to Chuck Robinson and Micheal Conroy of the Associated Press. I was a runner for 2 yrs. at the Indianapolis Motorspeedway for AP before becoming a pit photographer for the Indianapolis 500 and Brickyard 400. I have been shooting these events every since then. Have had pictures from these events on site like Yahoo.com, ESPN.com, Foxsports.com, and many newspapers around the world.
GEEK:
I am sometimes I become "gear envy!" The Affliction of seeing another photographer with better lens. But I find comfort that I can do more with less. Because it not the tools but the mechanic.
I shoot Canon since 1996 starting with EOS-1(film). I moved to digital with a D10 but now I shoot with a Canon 1DX and D7. I shoot with canon lens from a 16-35F2.8 up to a 70-200F2.8.
